Cannot access storage file '/mnt/user/isos/windows/virtio-win-0.1.160-1.iso': Input/output error

Featured Replies

The last few days I've moved my GPU and Quad NIC around to different slots trying to get x16 for the GPU passthrough and since VM's point to a bus rather than device, the VM's fail to start.  While I wish I could  reference device id, no problem, I can reconfigure, but for some reason the changes don't want to save and unRAID sits there without showing the save change as usual.

I'm not sure if it's this process of not completely saving which gets things hung up or my having force quit the VM but once this happens I'm no longer able to start the VM as I get the error in the subject and see the following in the console...

root@unRAID:/mnt# ls
/bin/ls: cannot access 'user': Input/output error
/bin/ls: cannot access 'cache': Input/output error
cache/ disk1/ disk2/ disks/ user/ user0/
root@unRAID:/mnt#

Any ideas why this happens?  Is there a process I can kill/restart to resolve so I don't have to restart the entire server?
