Unable to connect to unRaid from specific client

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I currently have a curious problem.
Apparently, however, no unRaid error.
But I'll describe my problem here anyway:
When I looked in the WebGui of unRaid the client (MacBook Pro > Catalina) hung up. After a restart of the MacBook I could not access the WebGui of unRaid. Neither by hostname nor by IP. However, the server appears in the network overview in the Finder. Connection to the shares does not work. SSH does not work either.

Accessing the server with any other client (other Mac, iPhone, iPad) still works fine.

So it seems that the MacBook Pro "forgot" something when it crashed.
I have already performed SMC reset, PRAM & NVRAM reset. Without success.

However, connecting to another server on the network (Openmediavault) still works with the "crashed" Mac. It now seems to have a problem with the IP of unRaid.

Or has unRaid possibly now blocked this Mac (has a fixed IP on the network)?

Does anyone have a hot tip for me?

unRaid Version is 6.8.3

Merry Christmas by the way.

I will answer myself.
Found the solution.
I had used the VPN within the Opera browser.
At the same time I could not access the local IP of the server.
VPN deactivated, and it worked again.

Most VPN clients have a setting where you can still access local LAN by-passing the VPN.
