After I changed 2 HDDs on my unraid I stuck on the array drive selection screen after restart. But the thing is I remove 2x4TB and added a brand new 8TB to fill the gap. I chose on disk3 place the new one but the system wouldn't let me move on to start the array. 

 

So I made a new profile which did the job. After seeing that the new profile totally removed all my dockers - which is not a problem - I also saw that the Disk3 now is not in use in my array as it should. It's totally empty. 

 

 

Did I do anything wrong? Can I go back to my older profile somehow?

Seems also that downloads from today are in there only.. so is started to copy the new ones on this disk but is that normal? Thanks in advance!

Unraid never moves files from old disks to new ones.  To do that, you'd want something like unbalance.

So everything is good with my setup. The new disk will be used for a little while now until is filled up like the others I suppose!?

Yes, depending upon your allocation method, split level, include / exclude settings.
