[SOLVED] Install HBA Card Then Ethernet Stops Working

Featured Replies

I just bought and installed a LSI-92078-8i in my Unriad 6.8.3. The card is flashed in IT and all the hard drive show up no problem but when the card is installed the onboard ethernet stops working. I'm at a complete lost as to why this is happening. I've gone through the few troubleshooting guides before posting with no luck fixing the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Asus Prime B365M-A with the latest BIOS version 1605. The motherboard has only one PCIE x16 3.0 slot which the card is installed in.

With card removed.

With the card installed.

Device ID can change when you add new hardware, and NIC is now device 04:00.0, and that address is bound to vfio-pci:

BIND=04:00.0

Unbind it or just delete /config/vfio-pci.cfg
