February 2, 201115 yr So I had power outage last night and my server shut down but also cam back on when power was restored, only out a few seconds. It is checking parity right now, what else should I do whe. It's done? I hope to get a ups in the next few weeks
February 2, 201115 yr Here in Texas, we are having rolling blackouts today. Ive been without power three times. Fortunately, my UPS's kept everything up so I could shut everything down cleanly. I haven't brought my unRAID or OpenFiler boxes back online yet. Ill probably leave them down until we get above freezing again...hopefully some time on Friday. That being said, once your machine runs a parity check, it should all be fine.

There is nothing else to do, other than to add a UPS when you can.
