February 3, 201115 yr Hey guys new here! To start... I want to build an unraid server. It isn't going to be a huge server probably 4tb or so at most. My dilemma is this... I found out about vortexbox which I would like to incorporate as well instead of buying something like a squeezbox touch to stream my music to my stereo. instead of building an unraid server for my movies and the vortexbox for music I was wondering If I could combine the too or at the very least just install vortexbox on to my existing windows 7 PC and have all the music go onto my unraid server and have that connected to my stereo so I can control the music with the ipeng iphone app?? Any ideas?
February 14, 201115 yr As far as I know nobody has tried this yet. Also, you might want to put vortexbox in the thread title if you want this thread to get more attention.
February 18, 201115 yr wth is a vortexbox? Ah found a link: http://vortexbox.org/ Looks to me like an alternative to unRAID, with a build on player. What would be the advantage to have both?
