SMART monitoring is currently only supported for SATA drives, and is not available for SAS drives.

the SAS drive still cannot view the SMART status. Are there any plans to support this function? Or do way have other ways to solve this problem?

Add information

You should be able to see SMART info for SAS drives (except some Seagate models on some versions due to a smartmontools bug), but there's currently no SMART attribute or health monitoring for SAS devices.

Understood, does Unraid have plan to support the health monitoring of SAS drives?

Can't answer that, but maybe in the future.

What are you looking for the selftest to function?

I'm just looking for a way to see the SAS-SMART status.

Update to v6.11.0, SAS SMART tests are supported now.
