*SOLVED* Unable to access the Internet after a Migration

Featured Replies

Hello!

So, I'm relatively new to Unraid.  I started using it during the summer and everything went well.  I used Unraid on an older Dell Poweredge T110 II and it worked flawlessly until I migrated it to an HP Proliant Mircoserver Gen 8.  I did the migration last month just before Christmas and didn't notice the issue until after the break.  The migration itself went well.  Everything works except connectivity to the Internet.  I originally thought I was having issues with my SWAG docker because I couldn't access my machine remotely when I was on vacation.  I had Pi-Hole running without any issues but disabled it because I thought it was the cause another unrelated problem where I couldn't access some websites like Gap and other stores.  I figured out the issue and it wasn't Pi-Hole.  Anyway, I tried to update the Docker containers and that's when I realized something was off.  I opened a terminal and could not ping 8.8.8.8 or any other external sites.  I have no issues pinging my internal network.  I can access my shares locally.  I'm stomped!  Did I do something wrong with my migration?  I will attach my diagnostics file, so hopefully someone can see why I'm having issues.

Unraid v 6.8.3

Things I've done;

- My Unraid server was using a static IP.  I switched it to dhcp and set the DNS servers to 8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1, etc.

- I checked the network.cfg file and it looks fine but I may be wrong.

Thank you!

Okay, after checking everything I finely found the culprit.  Wireguard was the issue, so after removing the wireguard routing info I was able to access the Internet again.
