January 8, 20215 yr If i allow unraid to open ports on its own on my router how are these ports controlled? will unraid just forward every single port to itself or do i still have control which port should be exposed and which one should not?

In what context? When opening inbound ports you normally control at the router end of it is allowed at all. When done from UnRAID end it would be opened to whatever issued the open request and limited to the requested port. Offhand the only place I can think of this being used as part of standard UnRAID is when opening an inbound port via UPNP for WireGuard.
January 10, 20215 yr Author the idea behind this would be that i would like to control ports in unraid directly, for example i wanna run a few game servers and some of them require many ports to be opened which is pretty annoying to do by hand.
