Drive Keeps getting disabled

Featured Replies

This is the third HDD in my disk 2 spot I've used in the last 6 months.  They all keep throwing errors and then start getting disabled by unraid after a short period of time .  The last 2 drives have been brand new that I installed and rebuilt.  I have switched SATA cables, I've switched SATA ports and I've also put a different power cable on the drive as well from the drive before it on the modular supply.  Nothing seems to stop this, Anyone have any ideas?

SAS2LP is not recommended for a long time, they are known to drop disks without a reason, though strange it's still the same one, still would recommended replacing it with an LSI.

The SATA card is not the issue.  Reason being, This HDD was on a MB SATA port when this started.  I switched ports on the MB with a different drive that was not having this issue.  Needless to say, Same problem.  Then I connected it to the SATA card, Same problem.  That card has 6 other drives on it, None have had any issues.  I don't get it.
