January 11, 20215 yr Time to introduce myself. I'm Conner, and I'm in the process of pulling together the hardware to build my first UNRAID system. I've been reading through this forum, and seems like there is a good community of helpful people here. I hope not to ask too many stupid questions, but I'm sure there will be a few. The system I'm putting together is a simple one. For now, I only need to relocate ~5TB of media and my PLEX server from my daily driver. I'm sure I'll eventually have the server do more, but need to first get this working. Besides searching and reading through this forum, been watching hours of videos (s/o to Spaceinvader One - Great content!) and feel confident in my hardware choices and installing/configuring what I wish to do. I do have one question - answer it here, or point me to where it is best to ask: I'm moving my PLEX server from a Windows 10 machine to UNRAID. I have a good understanding (from videos I've watch) on moving from one UNRAID docker container to a different one. Is moving from Win10 to UNRAID pretty much the same process? Are there issues/differences I need to be aware? Can you recommend a guide/video that addresses this? OK - more than a single question. Thanks for reading my post, and hope to someday be the guy answering the questions, and not asking them.
