Ready to pre-clear WD Black 2TB - **UPDATE DONE** Results posted...

Featured Replies

I'm ready to pre-clear my new WD Black 2TB drive. Are there any special settings to use when this gets done? Is the pre-clear script interactive and if it is can I use screen? I'll read up on pre-clear just to be familiar with it.

Looks good to me!!!

You can use screen.  It is interactive.  You'll need to respond to its prompt for it to start.

There are no special settings needed.

There is a new version I posted as of a few hours ago. Get it.  It is version 1.4.

Let me know how long it takes you to complete it, I'm about to do the same.

Looks good to me. Time to swap out my old parity drive and throw this one in.
