Remove A HDD in an Array

Featured Replies

Hi,

Is it possible to remove a HDD in an Array entirely and use it as an Unassigned Device (nothing in the HDD)? whenever I start the system, the HDD is being recognized as a part of the Unraid Array, I always need to remove the HDD before I start the array.

Thanks,

Wing

Yes, do a new config without it, parity will need to be synced and the array will not include any data that was on that disk, unless you move it first.
