Running VM instance disappeared or crashed? when system under heavy cpu load

I have noticed my vm just gone several times, when the system was under heavy cpu useage?

It has 8GB ram, the VM use 3GB, it's a windows 7 vm. So I don't think the vm ran out of its ram allocation. 

Is there anything I can do try to find the cause?
