February 6, 201115 yr Hi guys, I have been thinking, what would I do if my server were to have a catastrophic failure like a blown power supply, motherboard, RAM, etc.? During the time that my server was down waiting for new parts, how would I access my media? So the thought occurred to me, could I pull out any given data drive, install it in an external USB or eSATA enclosure, connect it to my Windows 7 machine, mount it with some sort of utility for Windows that will recognize reiserfs, and then play the media back like I would normally do? If it can be done, what utility would you recommend? Doing a Google search I found a couple of utilities for Windows XP and a few commercial products for Windows 7, but I don't know if there are different versions of reiserfs available and what version is being used by unRAID. Any suggestions?

February 6, 201115 yr Author Thanks! I saw rfstool in my Google search, but it looks to me to be an older driver with Windows XP listed as its newest Windows OS. Will this driver work in Windows 7?
November 5, 201312 yr Anyone ever figure this out? I need to move several TB to a windows system (win8)
November 5, 201312 yr This works fine for reading your UnRAID disks in Windows: http://www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/ ... and although it only lists up through Vista, it works perfectly in Windows 7. I haven't tried it with Windows 8, but I suspect it works there as well.
