[SOLVED] var/log keeps filling up

Featured Replies

Hi Guys got this a few times

/var/log is getting full (currently 98 % used)

Rebooted once before and it cleared but almost full again

I read a old thread on how dynmix needs 384m but that might be outdated now?

Is there a command to clear the log and are there some settings I need to tweak? I don't think none of the dockers are misconfigured and the only thing I have done recently is upgraded to Version: 6.9.0-rc2 and added Grafana with the ultimate dashboard.

Bloody hell stopped Grafana and it dropped from 98% to 33% so it does look like that something is misconfigred...

syslog in those diagnostics is all full of this repeated:

Jan 18 16:46:30 Server kernel: w83795 0-002f: Failed to read from register 0x012, err -6

seems to be related to sensors so maybe grafana is involved.

Reboot and post new diagnostics

Don't see those lines in syslog (yet). Are you still using grafana?

Anyone know if this is memory related?

Looks to be an lm-sensor thing for fan control with that specific device driver?
