Hi all,

I have a problem to come on my unraid. I test it and bought it some days ago. All was perfect but now I have no access they create an 169.254. IP adress. I do not nothing change. It is also not possible to connect via gui...

It is not a problem with my DHCP (FritzBox). I tried it on my old server it it works from start.

I do not know whats wrong. My new board is an MSI B460I gaming edge with a 2.5 Gbe port...

But the first days it works without any problem. I do not know why it is now...

I also create new sticks for testing and also delete the bios settings. Nothing helps...

Can anybody help me ?

best wishes Jens

Just checking, what version of Unraid are you using?  With a 2.5Gb NIC it needs to be 6.9.0-rc2 to have driver support for the NIC.

Hi,

I use the latest stable version 6.8.3

But why it works by beginning with this 2.5Gbe port ?

I may be wrong about that particular NIC needing 6.9.0-rc2 :(

If you boot in non-GUI mode do you get the option to login?  If you do then logging in and using

diagnostics

then the system diagnostics zip file will be written to the 'logs' folder on the flash drive. You are likely to get better informed feedback if you attach this diagnostics zip file to your NEXT post.
