I'm looking to upgrade my old APC BX1400UI to a bigger and rack mountable UPS to power my rack and I've shortlisted the following:

APC SMC1500I-2UC

 

It's right in the ballpark for the power range I'm looking at but I am trying to find out whether it can be monitored from Unraid via the LAN port.

I have my Unraid server and a Dell R210 acting as my router so I would like both servers to have remote shutdown capability in the event of powerloss so I would like to have one that has network capability. It does have a network port (dubbed the APC SmartConnect) but its not a network port provided by a management card like the SMT and SMX series have.

 

Does anyone have this UPS or another APC that has a SmartConnect network port and can confirm whether you can monitor it using Unraid's UPS daemon?
