Featured Replies

Dear Unraiders,

I have just upgraded my motherboard and CPU....from Intel platform to AMD

 B550 (AMD) Aorus Elite V2 motherboard & Ryzen 5 3600

Motherboard specs here - https://www.gigabyte.com/au/Motherboard/B550-AORUS-ELITE-V2-rev-10#kf

I used to have a login ip of 192.168.1.x

Now i have 192.18.100.x

I have looked through the forums and some have suggested it has something to do with the Realtek 2.5gbe Lan chip...

So before I do anything I, i though id ask here first...as i'm unable to use it.

Some have suggested downloading the Unraid Beta,

Others have suggested starting Unraid in GUI...which i've done and shows im unable to connect.

Other answers have been to delete the network config from my unraid USB....

I'm quite the linux/unraid noob so please be gentle

Thanks in advance for your help

What version of Unraid are you using ?

6.9.0 RC is probably necessary for the most recent NIC.

Thanks for your answer.

Running 6.8.3

How would I upgrade the Unraid Os ?

Obviously if it was running normally, I would just Check for Updates' on the Tools/Update OS page.

As it's unable to connect to the internet,....

Can I update the OS on my uSB stick using another computer ?

Would i lose anything such as config arrangement ?

Thanks again
