Hello,

I have 3 computers at home - my main gaming rig, my MacBook Pro, and an old gaming laptop with a broken keyboard and slightly functional screen.

1) Is it possible to connect the old gaming laptop to the network so that I can access it from my MacBook and play games on it (using the old gaming computer's graphics card etc...?).

2) Could I also use it to store files on the network/as a web server?

Which product would solve the above?

Thank you very much for taking the time to read, and thanks for the help.

P.S. Sorry if something I say doesn't make sense, I'm a beginner to networking.

my main gaming rig,

This is probably the only one that might be suitable for use as an Unraid server.

Hello,

My old gaming laptop is a 2016 GS73VR 6RF --> GTX 1060, 16gb memory, core i7 6 gen, 256 ssd boot, 1tb hdd storage.

Would that work or not powerful enough?

Laptops are not a good platform for Unraid.

Even though you have posted to the Unraid forum, I'm not sure you know what Unraid is.

Do you know anything about Unraid?
