GTX 1060 not recognized in SysDevs

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have been searching through forums and troubleshooting this issue for days now with no success.

Recently I decided that I need to add a graphics card to help with plex transcoding.

I was going to follow spaceinvaders tutorial on how to do this but decided to test if the GPU worked in unraid before upgrading the os to beta.

and to my surprise, unraid didn't recognize my gpu.
I've tried all pcie ports, updating bios, made sure the pcie lanes are at x16, enabling IOMMU, ..and more with no luck.

My last resort was to ask here!

The gpu definitely works..I tested it with the same system booting off a windows boot drive.

Open to any suggestions.

No Nvidia GPU detected, this is a hardware issue, try a different slot if available or a different board.

I have tested with a 1060 and a 1080 on all slots. Still nothing

Does your PSU have enough power?

Did you connect the power cables fully?

As jorgeb said, this is a hardware issue.

yes. its a 1000w psu. cables are connected properly. The configuration does work when i boot the system up with windows. This is why i thought it was an unraid config issue
I'll try with my main build and see if it works there
