February 8, 201115 yr Hello folks, I recently had one of my hard drives become disabled. I checked the logs and it showed it was no longer able to communicated with the drive. Anyway, I went and changed the sata cable of the disk and when I reboot it, the drive shows up again and the array starts but the red ball is still there next to the disk (disk6) I ran a smart check and everything passed fine so i started readin the tutorial "Trust my array" and I was going to do it but it says the following; Make sure that all of your disks are correctly assigned, not disabled or missing. My disk still shows as disabled in the array... How can I "re-enable it" to run the tutorial?
February 8, 201115 yr Author I became adventurous and seemed to have fixed it. I simply unassigned the disk, rebooted, reassigned it and all is now good.
