Hello all I have a couple of days ago installed unraid v6, because i grew tired of expnology, and I have seen Linus say good things about unraid.

 

I'm new and a noob to unraid as i have not tried it before, but as you can see in the screenshot, netdata is reporting high iowait and my CPU is pinned most of the time at 100%, and i can here the one HDD i have in it making sounds all the time.

 

I have netdata and plex installed and it takes a long time to start and stop those apps, but i think it's because i only have one HDD installed maybe.

When i start either of the apps the CPU will be pinned, no matter if it's netdata or plex.

 

I don't know how to proceed? Can anyone help?

 

PS: Next week I'm ordering 3 4TB Seagate Ironwolf HDDs and a 2.5" Drive Caddy for an 240GB SSD

    Adding a 240GB SSD as cache and for shares, i have appdata, domain and system set to use cache as preferred :)  This has helped a bunch
