Energen Posted January 31, 2021 Share Posted January 31, 2021 Nothing wrong with any of them provided that you have enough air movement for cooling.. front input and rear exhaust fans. But I'll just add that 2.5" drives were never (at least according to my recollection) recommended for long term / NAS type storage solutions.. they didn't have the reliability factor of 3.5" drives. I am very happy with build quality and temperature. The SSDs stay between 26 to 33°C and the tiny fans are not particularly audible over the general server cooling. The server is in my living room, not super silent but it is not an jet engine either. Quote Link to comment
