January 31, 20215 yr Both me and my dad have unraid servers but i've never encountered this problem before. He has a 3tb and a 1tb drive that are dying and he wants to get rid of them as he has a TON of space still in his array. How would he be able to get rid of those two drives while making sure that all the data on them is moved to another drive in the array?
February 1, 20215 yr Just to add on jonathanm, you should move the files from the dying disks with the 6 hours ago, jonathanm said: Unbalance plugin. then do a new config (in Tools). You will have to rebuild parity but the data on the drive will be left intact. Do not hesitate to ask if you are unsure.
