HighRoller
I cannot seem to get the net via the UnRaid initial setup. I'm not an expert in this area, but I do have very knowledgeable help from friends. I was indicated its a strong possibility the OS does not have driver support for my HW configuration. I cannot successfully ping any known active devices on my home network. I’ve gone through all the obvious possibilities…Bios setup, Layer 1 issues etc. If my friends here cannot help, then I’ll need to go a different direction. Thanks in advance, Bill Omnitestinc.com Quote Link to comment

itimpi
What version of Unraid are you using? If it is recent hardware then you may well need to use the 6.9.0-rc2 release to have support for your NIC - particularity if it is a 2.5Gb variant. Quote Link to comment

I have this motherboard coming since my Aorus Extreme died randomly. This motherboard has Intel chips X710-AT2 and i225. From what I can tell the i225 is apparently supported in the latest beta. Getting the X710 working would likely require either a new kernel or module or both. I actually couldn't find much about Linux support for this chip. Quote Link to comment

I am looking at getting a TRX40D8-2N2T with 256 RAM but can't really find reviews. Also can't find many note on people recommending or discouraging RAM for that board. Quote Link to comment
