Hey all, 

 

Running UnRaid 6.8.3, here. Connecting devices over WiFi on gigabit internet. As the title indicates, I'm a bit concerned about the speed of my Time Machine backup--especially the expected duration as compared to the backup of my PC I did using binhex-urbackup earlier. Both were roughly 220GB, but the PC completed in 2.5 hours while my MBP is estimating 17 hours. Seems strange. I've noticed, also, that if I need to move a file, say, from one media folder to another (I know, I should use Krusader), that the PC does it in seconds whereas the MBP takes several minutes.

 

I've done some poking around, but all of the possible answers I found were rather old. So I thought I'd ask again. Thanks in advance for any advice you might have.
