February 9, 201115 yr I am not sure if this is the right place for suggestions or if this has been suggested previously... The ability to spin up/down individual disks. I know I had a specific reason for wanting this functionality but I can't remember what it was! LOL Oh well...chalk that one to old age! Does anyone else see this as a "nice-to-have"? John
February 9, 201115 yr Do you have unmenu installed? The myMain plugin has this feature. Just click on the spinning icon to spin down an individual disk, or the not spinning (-) icon to spin it up. There are command line unRaid commands to accomplish this but no buttons on the standard GUI.

I have avoided plugins until 5.0 Final is released since I brand new to all of this. However, I can still play with it on my test box. Thx bj

Thx bj The "disk-management" page in unMEU also has the ability to spin-up/down individual drives. It won't take too long after unRAID 5.0 is a bit more stable before the added features like this are available via its plug-in scheme. Joe L.
