FlippinTurt
Description YouTransfer is a simple but elegant self-hosted file transfer & sharing solution. It is an alternative to paid services like Dropbox and WeTransfer by offering similar features but without limitations, price plans and a lengthy privacy policy. You remain in control of your files. Created to be installed behind the firewall on private servers, YouTransfer aims to empower organizations and individuals that wish to combine easy-to-use file transfer tooling with security and control. You can follow the project on Twitter, or read our blog. This is thanks to the work of Remie, all credit should go to him - I am just bringing this to unraid for the rest of us Links: http://www.youtransfer.io/ https://github.com/YouTransfer/YouTransfer FAQ; Q: How do I link my email? A: Hit settings down the bottom right Edited February 5, 2021 by FlippinTurt Quote Link to comment

Spectral Force
Once I finalize, how to I get back into the settings? I do not have a "Settings" link in the bottom right. Edited February 5, 2021 by Spectral Force Quote Link to comment

I do not have a "Settings" link in the bottom right. Finalise If you've completed configuring your YouTransfer instance, it is recommended to finalise the settings. This will remove the 'Settings' link from the bottom-right corner. Access to the Settings pages are restricted. Once the settings have been finalised, changes must be done directly in the 'settings.json' file located in the root of the installation directory. You can also unlock the settings, which will require you to provide an unlock code. Quote Link to comment

Lobsi
Hello all, I would like to ask about the support of larger Files then 20GB. Me and a co-worker wer trying to upload a large (40GB) Iso Image but the transfer stopped @ the Size of 20GB (WinSCP is reporting filesize 19908MB). Is it possible to upload the whole file, without splitting it? Thank you for a fast response, have a nice day and stay healthy! Simon Quote Link to comment

I sent mine to half a tb. I'm just having email connection issues. Quote Link to comment
Cpt. Chaz
very cool app, thanks for adding it to CA @FlippinTurt. Wondering if you or anyone else is running this behind reverse proxy (swag)? while i can access it outside my network just fine, i get an error on the main UI about the base url. i've tried leaving the base url blank (which is what i usually do for reverse proxy) and it does the same thing. anybody else dealing with this? Spectral Force
I've tried going through my webhost and also tried gmail. Both say connection issues but the credentials are correct. Quote Link to comment

frakman1
The docker image that this template uses is missing the security features that the latest one in GitHub contains even though the GitHub code is 5 years old. This one doesn't have this security settings page under http://<ip>/settings/security: nor the corresponding settings.security.html page available in the GitHub version: GitHub: UNRAID: root@dc87d0587a01:/opt/youtransfer/dist/views/pages# ls -lsth total 52K 4.0K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 608 Feb 10 17:47 unlock.html 4.0K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2.8K Feb 10 17:47 settings.transfer.html 4.0K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3.7K Feb 10 17:47 settings.template.html 4.0K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.7K Feb 10 17:47 settings.html 8.0K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6.1K Feb 10 17:47 settings.storage.html 4.0K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3.0K Feb 10 17:47 settings.general.html 4.0K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.4K Feb 10 17:47 settings.finalise.html 12K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 9.9K Feb 10 17:47 settings.email.html 4.0K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1006 Feb 10 17:47 index.html 4.0K -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 743 Feb 10 17:47 download.html Edited February 11, 2021 by frakman1 Quote Link to comment

I'm new to the forum (and Unraid as well) and I'm interested in this container too, but this lack in the security part worries me a bit. Is there a way, if you all know, on how to install the officially supported container? or to upgrade this one with the missing commits? Thanks and Best, Ivano Quote Link to comment
Myranium
So, I'm unable to upload files from outside my network on my URL. I've set my limit to 20GB, and I can upload the files inside the network. Screenshot Any idea what the problem might be? I'm stumped Quote Link to comment
METAL13
Like stated in above post's - great idea and has great potential! But like others, I struggle to get this app to work with NGINX Proxy Manager on Unraid. I set the URL to 'shared.mydomain.id.au' and have SSL certs in NGINX but unless I paste the local IP and Port for the container it wont connect/load the page. Looking forward to solutions and updates to the app in the future Quote Link to comment
burgess22
It seems to use the docker as a tmp directory when processing jobs...i have the upload section set to a share outside of the docker container but still filling docker and one fix this issue? Quote Link to comment
SP67
Hi, Is the container still in development? I see on the community apps info that it was last updated on 2021. Thanks Edited April 1, 2022 by SP67 Quote Link to comment
