February 9, 201115 yr Been lurking around but have not been able to find some answers. If someone can direct me to where I would find the info much appreciated. Question: Is it possible to have a Dir on the Cache (Movies) move whats been dumped there to just Disk1 and at the same time have another Dir on the Cache (TV Shows) move just to Disk 2? I want to make sure only files in Movies go to Disk1 and files in TV Shows go to Disk2. Is this at all possible? Is it possible through unMenu or do I have to enter through the Command Line? Please note I'm pretty new to unRAID and have searched the forums quite extensively but have come up bingo with this scenario. Any help or direction much appreciated.
February 9, 201115 yr i think you can just use the include disk/exclude disk when creating shares for that, with or without a cache drive.
February 9, 201115 yr Yes, you make 2 user shares called "Movies" and "TV Shows". You set Movies to use disk1 and TV Shows to use disk2. Set both to use the cache disk. Then, you just copy a movie to the Movie share and it is placed on the cache disk and later gets moved to disk1. Same for tv shows except being moved to disk2. Peter
