Can't even play 2D games on a i5 (Intel 630 GPU) via VM?

Featured Replies

Even a game play Stardew Valley at 720p gets 20-25fps and constantly drops to single digits. I have 10GB of ram allocated to the VM and a i5-9400. My 7 year old entry level laptop with an AMD processor and no GPU gets 60FPS in this game.

I have selected Intel 630 graphics in the VM and it detects it, even installed the intel graphic drivers. I am connecting via Remote Desktop Connection but overall most animations feel slow even on desktop.

Any ideas?

RDP isn't particularly designed for gaming, but rather handling windows itself.
