February 6, 20215 yr Hi, did anyone try to use xcp-ng? I am really struggling also with vmplayer and virtualbox if i take my existing ,working USB, i keep on getting 169.254 ip address....not sure what else to try
February 6, 20215 yr On any hypervisor that does not support booting directly from USB, you can try booting from plopkexec.
February 7, 20215 yr If you log in and use the ‘df’ command do you see anything being mounted at /boot? Your symptoms would be consistent with the USB drive not being mounted at the later stages of the boot process as that would mean no network drivers would be loaded.
July 7, 20214 yr Any chance you figured this out and that's why the thread is quiet? I'd love to get this working :)
