February 7, 20215 yr I searched these forums and could not find an answer to this question. I noticed tonight on my SSD cache drive that under /mnt/user/system there is another folder called /libvirt. I don't know how it got there, if it is supposed to be there and what it is supposed to do if it is supposed to be there. The folder was created today at 7:37 pm EST. I'm new to this all and really don't know how it got there. It contains a file called libvirt.img. SO confused... Thanks for any helpful input.
February 7, 20215 yr Author Thanks for the reply. I have no VMs at this point. Just plug-ins and Dockers. I don't know how it got there. I noticed there is also a docker.img under the docker folder. That one makes sense. Thanks.
February 7, 20215 yr Community Expert Do you have the VM service enabled? Doing so will create the libvirt.img file regardless of whether you have yet created any VMs.
February 7, 20215 yr Author I do have the VM service enabled. Thanks so much for the explanation. This is all quite new to me. I was wondering how that folder and file were created. I appreciate your time to reply.
