Issues with Windows VM size

Featured Replies

  • Community Expert

I have installed a Windows VM as vdisk on an NVME disk. All seemed to work well, but now not being able to extend the vdisk size.

Unraid Main tab: NVME size 2.05TB, used 1.65 TB, Free: 396 GB

Unraid VM tab: Capacity 2T, Allocation 1T

Windows VM Explorer: 32.0 GB free out of 1.49 TB

Windows VM Disk Manager: four partitions: (1) 450MB (recovery), (2) 99MB (system), (3) 1,534.93 GB (boot), (4) 525MB (recovery)

I understand that I'd need to increase capacity in the VM tab, but that's already at 2T right now, but not visible within the VM.

Any idea what I can do? Any more info I can provide for trouble-shooting?
