Any Chance to Get JDownloader to Work in unRAID?

Featured Replies

I don't see your problem dsmitty166. The system checked looked the same for me and I just continued with the installation and everything works.

We had 6 pages of error messages, he was probably just a little sensitive to any further errors  ;)

Is there a step i missed so it keeps its configuration? Every reboot, I have to setup for the first time again.

Thanks

Yes, there's a way to do it. Which instructions did you follow? If you followed the second one its at the end of the post

For anyone using this, I have created an unMenu package for this application.  You can find it here along with all the packages that need to go with it.

If you have any questions about the install that is related to my unMenu package PLEASE post in the above linked thread.

I am that good ;)

But anyway, I got pyLoad working on the unRAID machine.  JDownloader seemed like the wrong direction, but I don't actually use these types of apps regularly.

i just saw that pyload isnt compatible with easybytez.com..... (: maybe soon....in any case this is a very nice addon......and with flexget oh, unraid will make a hell of a download machine  ;)8)

while pyload can almost do why jd can, i still find myself using jdownloader more. probably because, with pyload, when download goes bad for whatever reason, the file is marked as complete or anything that prevent pyload to download the file again. restart failed download doesnt always worked. im tired of manually micromanage pyload downloads.

having said that, i do hope there will be unraid jd.

there slackbuilds for jdownloader available here http://slackbuilds.org/repository/13.37/network/jdownloader/

i try

root@Tower:/mnt/cache/.jdownloader# sh jd.sh

sorry to revive an older thread but i thought it better than starting a new one. forgive me but i dont think putting jdownloader on unraid would require as much work as everyone seems to think. nt that i have the skills to do so. but it is java based and has a webui. there shouldnt be a need for xwindows i would imagine. although i dont know if i would want to have to install java. that just seems like asking for trouble. but i wouldnt mind trying it out.
