February 8, 20215 yr I have a requirement to set up a fedora machine for creating builds of my software and also RPM packages and testing. I quite happily use Ubuntu on Unraid via the VNC KVM and it works pretty well (It's not as good as RDP, but it's very usable). However, I've set up a Fedora VM, 16GB RAM, 8 Cores, Disk is stored on SSD and the performance is like a dog, clicking results in a massive delay, dragging windows about lags by well over a second, I can't see what the problem is. Spin up the Ubuntu VM and it works fine, switch back to Fedora and it's unusable. Any ideas?
