Ubuntu 20.04 LTS - No input on keyboard, unable to open settings, and WLAN showing offline

Featured Replies

I'm a fairly green Ubuntu user and I loaded up a fresh 20.04 LTS VM Sunday morning. It worked fine until I got up today, wherein I discovered that I could not pass any keyboard text into the VM, the system settings would not open, and the network is possibly offline (question mark on the menubar icon).

The primary use of this was for a gaming server running instances of LinuxGSM supported modules. I only had one up since configuring the VM initially, which involved creating a new su `vhserver1`.

I'm not sure what other information might be beneficial in troubleshooting. Any help is truly appreciated.

Edit: I powered it off for a few minutes and when I reboot, I get stuck in a `KernalOops` loop throwing errors for me to report (see attached image).
