Crashes and slow parity check

Featured Replies

For the past week or so I've been having issues with my rig. It would frequently crash, and I had to force shutdown as I couldn't access the web dashboard, couldn't connect to SSH, and also couldn't do anything by attaching a monitor/keyboard. Due to being forced off, a parity check was needed. That parity check would usually crash the system again. On my latest attempt it has been up for 18 hours and counting, but the parity check is excessively slow (87.5 KB/sec).

What I've done so far:

  • Changed the USB drive
  • Changed some SATA cables
  • Fixed some BTRFS errors which were likely caused by forced shutdowns

Thanks for any help!
