Energen Posted February 15, 2021 Share Posted February 15, 2021 The W-1200 series of Xeon processors require a motherboard with the W480 chipset, will not work with Z490. You're mixing server/workstation cpu with consumer motherboard... you have to go one way or the other, all server grade hardware or all consumer grade hardware. For that motherboard you'd need a LGA1200 Core i5/i7/i9 Quote Link to comment

WS C246 PRO Intel® Core™ i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series Red DDR4 All seems to be running OK. Have a lot of UNRAID learning for this newbie to do.
