spasszeit
Anyone experienced a problem running two LSI SAS cards in X11SCA-F? Thinking of getting this motherboard but need to make sure that two LSI cards can run simultaneously in it. Someone in another thread mentioned that he had a problem with running an LSI card in the slot nearest the CPU but it could have just been a temporary glitch. Opawesome
For what it's worth, I have a Supermicro X11SSH-LN4-F with one LSI SAS 9201 16i. It has been working flawlessly for a year. I had it connected to the PCI-E 3.0 x8 (in x16) slot first, but decided to move it to the 2nd PCI-E 3.0 x8 (in x8) slot afterwards, with a fan installed in the last PCI-E slot blowing air directly to on to the SAS card radiator. The bracket used to install the fan is like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Bracket-Three-Mount-Video-Cooling/dp/B00UJ9JSBY Quote Link to comment
spasszeit
All good here. Have been running two LSI SAS 9207-8i cards for over week now and no issues. Very happy with the speeds I am getting. Quote Link to comment
