Excessive ssd writes prerequisites before running

Featured Replies

Hey all, I'm about to run the following command on my rig to try and fix the excess ssd write issue:

mount -o remount -o space_cache=v2 /mnt/cache

I'm just wondering if I'll need to stop my VMs and/or docker services before running it? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

No, but note that it's just part of the fix, other things like the new partition alignment in v6.9 also make a difference.

Thank you, Jorge! I’ll be sure to upgrade from beta35. I’ve been putting off RC1 for too long.
