February 11, 201115 yr Hi , I want to download all shows to same folder because usually I just have 1 episode per week to see for each shows and I don't like to have 1 file in a folder. I rather have all files under /TV. Will that cause problems to the different shows ? because I encountered something weird : For the show No Ordinary Family, Sickbeard says episode 6 was already downloaded , and the file name is of another show "The Cape". I have manually copied the file to this directory , could that caused the problem ? Another question I have , Where do I set the default folder for "Add Show" ? when I click Add show I get folder "/mnt/disk1/Shows" and I want it to default be "/mnt/user/TV" Thank you.
February 11, 201115 yr Sickbeard expects a directory for each show with the show episodes stored under this directory. The shows need to have SxxExx as part of the file name and Sickbeard uses this episode numbering to identify each show. In your example, Sickbeard sees the S01E06 file and assumes that is season 1, episode 6 for that TV series. What you can do is point Sickbeard to a directory for each TV show (which doesn't have to exist) and then set SAB to unzip each TV show into some common directory that Sickbeard doesn't know about. Do not use the Sab2sickbeard script. The downside is that by using Sickbeard this way you will find it won't know what is downloaded and what is not. I expect it will re-try to download episodes that it snatched but never confirmed the download, which will happen every 7 days I believe. Your best bet is to just let Sickbeard download and sort the TV episodes. At the end of each season, you can delete the season files and mark the season as "skip" in Sickbeard. Try using a program like XBMC or MediaBrowser (run under Windows Media Center) to watch your episodes. These programs give a pretty interface as well as tracking of the watched vs unwatched episodes. Peter Thank you very much for your reply. Problem is that I have 2 streamers (Tvix 6500 and Xtreamer) which both don't support NMT. Thats why Its useless for me to have folders and data per show. I hope that unaired episodes will automatically start dl'ing themselves although other file numbered is in the folder
