Hello.

I am new to unraid and managed to connect it all myself.

My configuration:

ML310e Gen8 v2

16GB Ram

10gb SFP+

2x SAS drives 2tb each

256GB NVME cache drive

i can get anything from about 100-105mbs on 1gb nic but when i use my 10gb it starts from 100 going up to 200/300 and at this point it will go to about 75 stable transferring lets say 5gb iso file to from windows 10 pc with NVME drive.

I have run iperf and it showing 890mb? What should i check?

Thank You

Are you writing to a cached share?

No i just copy file to my share, i thought how it works is that everything i copy to the server is going to cache drive and then goes to the share

Whether this happens is set at the individual share level.  For the behavior of first going to cache and later being moved to the array you need Use Cache=Yes to be set for the share.  The built in help gives a good summary of how that setting works, and more detail can be found here  in the online documentation that can be accessed via the Manual link at the bottom of the unraid GUI.
