cuchyto Posted February 26, 2021 Share Posted February 26, 2021 Good afternoon i was wondering is there any way to combine a wd pr4100 with my unraid box , my problem is that my case only have 10 bay and i already low on storage all my drive are 14tb now and i have 4 x12tb sitting around . You should be able to mount the NAS as an Unassigned Device to access files on it. To attach an external box with disks assigned as array devices you need SAS connections, typically you would have a LSI HBA like https://www.broadcom.com/products/storage/host-bus-adapters/sas-9300-8e in the Unraid motherboard with cables to a SAS disk enclosure, possibly with an expander.
