dja
I know this topic has been beat over the head numerous times...but I'm not finding an answer that works. I am averaging about 40-50 Mb/s copy on the network to & from and even from CACHE to array or array to CACHE and in VMs. Even copying from CACHE in VM TO the VM is slow!! (And VM is ON the CACHE!) Jumbo frames not on. I have tried with DOCKER off. I have tried without a network bond. I have tried different ports/cables and all of that. Gig network running all Unifi gear. I have used Tips & Tricks to set: Disable NIC Flow Control? Yes Disable NIC Offload? Yes Ethernet NIC Rx Buffer:Default Ethernet NIC Tx Buffer:Default Ethernet NICS: eth0,eth1 iperf is showing VERY good speeds from my Win10 device to UNRAID...what the heck am I missing!!?? Diags attached along with a video of a transfer. At a loss.... root@ZEUS:~# iperf3 -s ----------------------------------------------------------- Server listening on 5201 ----------------------------------------------------------- Accepted connection from 192.168.1.16, port 56091 [ 5] local 192.168.1.39 port 5201 connected to 192.168.1.16 port 56092 [ ID] Interval Transfer Bitrate [ 5] 0.00-1.00 sec 101 MBytes 849 Mbits/sec [ 5] 1.00-2.00 sec 103 MBytes 867 Mbits/sec [ 5] 2.00-3.00 sec 107 MBytes 896 Mbits/sec [ 5] 3.00-4.00 sec 112 MBytes 936 Mbits/sec [ 5] 4.00-5.00 sec 111 MBytes 935 Mbits/sec [ 5] 5.00-6.00 sec 111 MBytes 928 Mbits/sec [ 5] 6.00-7.00 sec 111 MBytes 929 Mbits/sec [ 5] 7.00-8.00 sec 111 MBytes 932 Mbits/sec [ 5] 8.00-9.00 sec 111 MBytes 930 Mbits/sec [ 5] 9.00-10.00 sec 109 MBytes 917 Mbits/sec [ 5] 10.00-10.04 sec 4.28 MBytes 932 Mbits/sec - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ ID] Interval Transfer Bitrate [ 5] 0.00-10.04 sec 1.07 GBytes 912 Mbits/sec receiver ----------------------------------------------------------- Server listening on 5201 ----------------------------------------------------------- The OTHER direction- from UNRAID to Win10 PC is HALF the speed?? root@ZEUS:~# iperf3 -c 192.168.1.16 Connecting to host 192.168.1.16, port 5201 [ 5] local 192.168.1.39 port 50344 connected to 192.168.1.16 port 5201 [ ID] Interval Transfer Bitrate Retr Cwnd [ 5] 0.00-1.00 sec 103 MBytes 865 Mbits/sec 1481 299 KBytes [ 5] 1.00-2.00 sec 52.4 MBytes 439 Mbits/sec 1894 163 KBytes [ 5] 2.00-3.00 sec 51.8 MBytes 434 Mbits/sec 506 163 KBytes [ 5] 3.00-4.00 sec 53.7 MBytes 450 Mbits/sec 1016 155 KBytes [ 5] 4.00-5.00 sec 64.8 MBytes 543 Mbits/sec 643 251 KBytes [ 5] 5.00-6.00 sec 45.2 MBytes 379 Mbits/sec 1188 245 KBytes [ 5] 6.00-7.00 sec 76.1 MBytes 638 Mbits/sec 1071 234 KBytes [ 5] 7.00-8.00 sec 56.9 MBytes 477 Mbits/sec 1213 167 KBytes [ 5] 8.00-9.00 sec 68.5 MBytes 575 Mbits/sec 859 245 KBytes [ 5] 9.00-10.00 sec 30.2 MBytes 253 Mbits/sec 461 158 KBytes - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ ID] Interval Transfer Bitrate Retr [ 5] 0.00-10.00 sec 602 MBytes 505 Mbits/sec 10332 sender [ 5] 0.00-10.00 sec 600 MBytes 503 Mbits/sec receiver iperf Done. root@ZEUS:~# Slow copy from array.mp4 zeus-diagnostics-20210226-1357.zip Edited February 26, 2021 by dja Quote Link to comment

Yes- that works flawlessly. Maxing out 114 MB/s the entire copy. Frustrating! Quote Link to comment
