Error network alter update 6,9

Featured Replies

Hello,
This afternoon, I upgraded to version 6.9 from the Unraid interface.
After the server reboot, it is no longer visible on the network, I have already tried to reconfigure the network parameters in GUI mode but nothing changes, connection impossible. Do you have an idea?

Did you read the link I gave you? It tells you how to get us more information even when there is a network issue.

Re, I tried everything, not possible to reconnect the server, whether in fixed ip or DHCP, as if the network card was missing. After reading all the posts I can't find a solution.
I just have access in Gui mode nothing else. is there a command to reset the network config?

Maybe related... mine got a new MAC address after the update. I think it is related to the network bond picking a different NIC. Not sure. Anyway, it took some arp cache flushes and settings in my DHCP server to get back to talking. I only figured it out because I got an alert that a new device joined my network, and it had the same name as my missing server.

In the GUI mode, go to     Tools   >>>    Diagnostics      Unraid will tell you exactly where it saving the Diagnostics file on the flash drive.   Shut the server down and upload the file in your NEXT post.

If the GUI is not available.  Hook up a Monitor and Keyboard.   Log into the server.  Then type the following command:

diagnostics

Wait for the collection process to finish and the file to be written.

Now shut the server down by momentarily depressing the power switch on the server (less than a second). Rmove the flash drive and you will find the file in the /logs directory/folder on the flash drive.

It would be better if everyone else started their own thread with a complete description of their problem and their diagnostics.
