Unraid Doesnt show virtual nics in pfsense/opnsense

Featured Replies

so the title pretty much sums it up i make a new vm, make some virtio nics and when i boot pfsense it doesnt find them.

i used to use a phisical nic but when rebooting my pfsense vm wouldnt boot anymore stating i didnt have permission to access the nic's so i gave up on that and am now trying it the virtual way becouse i run a proxmox server and there it works fine.

i know i can change the model in the xml file i already did that and it just swithes it to virtio when i try that so bummer.

does anyone have any idea what to do?

thanks in advance
