I need to get all the data off of my Unraid server as I need to basically start afresh so have plugged in an 8tb external drive to manually move files on to it using MC.  I've noticed when I mount the drive it is read only (NTFS).  Could this be because it is using compression?  I originally started the the transfer of files using a windows box on my network, using compression on the drive.

    I can confirm that if you have NTFS with compression enabled the drive will be read only when mounted in Unraid.  I have put another NTFS drive in and not used compression, now working like a dream 🙂
