March 4, 20215 yr Array is 12TB, most full disk has 2TB free. The backup size is less than 40GB and it starts running but fails after less than a minute every time. I've tried high water and most free. Cache is set to yes. The cache drive has > 200GBfree. I get no meaningful event log errors and nothing shows up in the unraid system log. March 4, 20215 yr Community Expert Let me also suggest that you Google this problem as a Windows issue. Be sure that you include the the backup program and the fact that you are backing to a Network resource.
March 5, 20215 yr Community Expert Nothing obvious in those diagnostics. Probably a Windows or Windows application problem as Frank1940 suggested. Error messages often seem to be wrong about the real cause of the failure.
