March 5, 20215 yr Just noticed a drive is down, everything precleared fine. I did just set this server up in a 24 bay super micro chassis. I had some trouble slotting in some drives, but everything was up and working, but I wouldn't be surprised if I had to reseat it, but just wanted to check since I don't understand the errors to well. My diagnostics is attached, if I should stop my dockers or something let me know, I'm still adding a lot of data right now and had JUST started a transfer when I noticed this. tower-diagnostics-20210304-1732.zip
March 5, 20215 yr Community Expert Disk looks fine, looks more like a connection problem, try a different slot, but you'll need to rebuild it.
March 5, 20215 yr Author That's what I thought, I had two execution errors and I've NEVER seen that. Now, my fans are going BALLISTIC even though all my temps are perfectly fine. How do I know which files if any are corrupt? The drive also now shows as an "unassigned" disk as well on the "Main" screen only, but also still as Disk 16 (Emulated). tower-diagnostics-20210305-0731.zip

Most likely all files are fine, but unless you have pre-existing checksums or are using btrfs no way to know for sure, you can however rebuild that disk to a spare one then compare the data with the old one.
March 5, 20215 yr Author Ha, I wish I had a spare drive. I'm too lazy to wait, I'm running TDARR_AIO anyway so I should be able to find anything that broke. So do I just reseat the drive and "rebuild" the system then?
March 5, 20215 yr Community Expert https://wiki.unraid.net/Troubleshooting#Re-enable_the_drive Make sure the emulated disk is mounting and contents look correct before rebuilding on top.

When I click the link I don't see that "Re enable the drive" section? Which number section do I look at? Edited March 5, 20215 yr by tential
March 5, 20215 yr Community Expert Oops, wiki changed, basically, stop array, unassign that disk, start array, stop array, re-assign the disk, start array to begin rebuilding.

March 24, 20215 yr Author For anyone reading this, this is happening to me when my network activity is maxed out, and my whole network freezes. I currently believe setting a DL cap on transmission will solve it.
